Paid NMC fees
We reimburse almost 1000 NMC fees for our nurses each year
In 2017 we became aware that the NMC fees had become a financial burden for many nurses and midwives. In the first year, we paid the £120 annual NMC fee for almost 1000 Thornbury nurses and midwives.
How do I qualify?
You simply have to work 18 shifts in the year between your last NMC renewal and your upcoming renewal, and keep your compliance up to date.

Don't just take our word for it:
“Thornbury paying for my NMC fees is one of the many reasons I stay with them, it is a real bonus. If you divide the fees throughout the year it doesn’t seem like a lot of money but as one lump sum it is and I’m very grateful for Thornbury paying for it. I think it is amazing and it has helped me a lot.”
“I love it, it’s an incentive to do a lot of work. A weight off the mind and you don’t have to pay out.”
“Thornbury paying my NMC fees is a big help to know I don’t have to pay for the whole thing. It’s a good benefit. I don’t think another employer has done this for us. It’s a really big help and I really appreciate it.”
