We need prison nurses for temporary, last minute placements throughout England and Wales. Thornbury prison nurses can access work in prisons, custodial settings and young offender’s institutes. You’ll need to work to our high standards and in return you’ll receive full professional support from us.

Requirements

  • A valid NMC Pin
  • A willingness to work to our company expectations
  • Evidenced completion of NOMS or CTC clearance dependent, on the category of prison
  • Evidenced completion of Child Protection Training (Level 3) if working in a young offender’s institute
  • The ability to undertake a range of core skills in the prison medical centre, with a focus on the promotion of health and well-being
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in the last 18 months
