We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join our call centre team in Bristol.

Our call centre team make sure that we get our nurses and health care workers where they need to be and when they need to be there. They are responsible for sending our workers out to work within hospitals, care homes, prisons and schools across the country. You will be dealing with telephone inquiries from our workers and clients, resolving their queries and making sure that their experience with us is second to none.

Thornbury Nursing Services specialises in recruiting and supplying exceptional nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers for temporary work placements across England and Wales in the acute and community sector. We supply workers at very short notice, no matter when or where and are responsive to clients’ needs 24hrs a day, 365 days a year.

Although there are targets to achieve, the larger focus is on providing a quality services to our clients and our workers. To achieve this, you’ll need to be friendly, articulate, driven, tenacious, calm under pressure and aware of time constraints and how they affect others around you.

So that we are best able to meet the needs of our clients, our call centre shift patterns mirror those worked in the healthcare industry. You will be working five 8 hour shifts per week, between the hours of 7am and 10pm. You will also be working alternate weekends.

Our office is located Long Ashton, just 10 minutes outside of Bristol with great access to public transport.

As a Recruitment Coordinator you will be confident with an excellent telephone manner, approachable and able to engage candidates effectively. You will be highly motivated and target driven with the ability to manage your own work and be in control. As a Recruitment Coordinator you will:

  • Provide telephone guidance to our candidates based throughout the UK.
  • Select nurses and health care assistants on the basis of competence and suitability for the job role.
  • Support our candidates through the full recruitment cycle. This includes; posting new vacancies, vetting CVs and applications, conducting telephone interviews, booking to interview all whilst ensuring that compliance is your number one priority.

In the role of Recruitment Coordinator, shifts are between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Our office is based in Long Ashton with great public transport links and parking nearby.

To be considered you must;

  • Possess strong IT skills, being proficient at using outlook, excel, word and systems.
  • Be able to form key relationships with candidates.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Be able to work individually and as part of a team, be extremely organized and flexible whilst being proactive in your role.
  • Have a confident telephone manner
  • Although a background in recruitment is desired, we will consider candidates that have an established background in administration.
