NURSE PRACTITIONER – INDEPENDENT PRESCRIBER – REQUIRED.
London
To £38,000 to £43,000 + Excellent supporting package
Our client is looking to recruit an Experienced Practice nurse for their Expanding Practice in North Central London Area.
Role;
Responsible for attending to patients who wish to be seen by a health care professional; diagnosing and treating patients presenting with minor illness seeing and advising people in respect of their continuing medical and nursing needs. There is a requirement to see extra or emergency patients. The nurse practitioner will need to prioritise and triage the needs of patients accordingly making any necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner.
Education & Qualifications;
Recognised Nurse Practitioner qualification
NMC registration
Family planning certificate
Ideally have a Prescribing qualification Degree or working towards one.
Skills/Abilities;
Advanced and effective communication skills
Uses initiative to make decisions
Works well in a multi disciplinary team
Able to organise and co-ordinate services during the absence of more senior staff
Experience;
Minimum of 4 years post registration experience
Venepuncture
Chronic disease management
Cytology
Remuneration;
Salary; From £38,000 to £43,000 basic
