Ward Manager- SOUTHAMPTON
Circa £35,000
35 days annual leave + excellent package
We are pleased to invite candidates to apply for this exciting role working for a a prestigious private healthcare company in Hampshire
The role will be working within a state of the art clinical facility in Southampton.
Purpose of Role:
·You will be responsible for the management of all inpatient clinical and administrative areas maintaining a high standard of care at all times.
·Providing leadership, and sound management skills to the unit, developing and fostering a ‘can do’ environment.
·An expert clinical practitioner within the clinical area. To deliver direct patient care whilst, managing, leading, co-ordinating and overseeing nursing practice for all nursing services provided to inpatients
·To work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary team at all times maintaining good lines of communication.
·Actively and consistently promote the highest standard of patient care ensuring that all care given is to the highest possible standard
Experience
·Minimum of five years relevant experience
·Minimum of 2 years experience in acute surgical environment
·Experience of effectively building and managing a team
·Experience in change management
Education/Qualification
·Registered Nurse Level 1 or equivalent ODP qualification
·Teaching qualification/ ENB 998 or equivalent
Evidence of continual professional development to meet NMC requirements
Remuneration;
Circa £35,000 + Excellent supporting package
* Paid annual leave: 27 days holiday plus 8 days public holidays
* Support for Continuing Professional Development.
* Company Sick pay scheme in addition to statutory scheme on joining.
* Basic 37.5 hour week + opportunities to increase earnings through additional shifts and overtime working
